Even though she has cash on hand to run both her business and her small farmland, she finds that she has inadequate cash to expand her agri-business and trade to generate income and improve her overall standard of living. In 2010, she actively sought financial assistance from CBIRD through contracting a loan of THB 20,000.00 with semi-balloon repayment method that was to be repaid with monthly interest and then at mid-term of the loan-cycle, the loan must be converted to 50% of principal and the balance debt outstanding must be repaid at the end of the loan contract.
She said, “With business development from this loan utilization, I can manage my business to be steadier and generate regular income. I satisfactorily used cash from my business’s profit to afford my children’s education and spend on normal family expenses such as meals, medication, clothes and social participation which were previously just a dream”.
